The Midi Massacre

These files are all remixes of various songs... some of which you may know, some of which you probably never heard of. They all sounded good in the original machines, but on a PC's sound card... they will probably not sound as good as they should. Ick. On my comp, they sound plastic and thin, but when I tried playing them on a friend's computer (which has a much better sound card), there was some significant lag in some of the tunes. That's bad. If your card isn't even better, I hope you get stuck with the first option; that's actually better.

Oh, by the way... incase you didn't know, clicking on a file will most likely open Windows' mediaplayer. If you want to save a file, rightclick and "save as". But you already knew that.

Song Name
...and a short description
Download/listen

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
A simple song... one of the first I made... Not that great, but might be fun if you're feeling nostalgic. ;P

Du Gamla, Du Fria...
(Swedish national anthem)
Another early song. It's... not what you'd expect it to be, I think... at least if you've heard it before. Again, fairly simple; an early production. But at least it's fun to listen to it. (It now seems to work...)

Gubben Noak
Er. Something. (Dunno what it's called in English - just listen to it okay?) ;P This is also an early work...

Last Night I Had The Strangest Dream
Come on, it's a classic; you know what it is... right? Kinda... etheral and... sounds pretty nice, even on my SB. It has a very high potential to be screwed up by bad soundcards, though.

Jag Trivs Bäst I Öppna Landskap
Don't think it has a name in English... A calm, springtime-ish song, sorta. And - w00t! - it seems to work now. Yay.

Let It Be
The famous song by The Beatles. A rather... odd remix, hehehe. ^_^' Apart from an annoying whistle sound that shows up every now and then, it sounds OK on my sound card, but it sounded a lot better on a synth... wah. I still like this one, though.

I'm A Loser
For some reason, this is one of my fave Beatles songs. It's just... good. The remix turned out pretty good, too. I wouldn't have let it be bad; I like the song too much for that...

Nowhere Man
You guessed it, another Beatles tune. It's not one of the best ones, but it sounds a lot better if you have a decent sound thingamajig to play it on. My Soundblaster murders it, but then again, it is a crappy SB.

Taxman
What? What? I'm not allowed to be a Beatles nut? Well, take that, unbeliever! *thwap!* ... Seriously, this is probably the worst of the Beatles remixes, just the "song" and accompaniment. And it's a less-known song, too. Oh well... can't win 'em all. Just so you know, it's supposed to be played on an overdriven guitar. And if I said something about my SB murdering Nowhere Man, you should hear what it does to this poor song...

With A Little Help From My Friends
Hmm, better, better... This one isn't so bad, even if it isn't the best I've done. I still think it's worth listening to, though, and it actually sounds almost right on my sound card...

Yellow Submarine
...if you don't know, you're stoopid. I'm not that fond of the original, but I know others are... and it is famous. It's not too bad for a remix, either, if I may say so... (And since this is my page, I may say so. Blah.)

Yesterday
And finally, I shall perform Yesterday. This is probably the best or second best song on the page, so make sure you like it - or else! >;P Seriously speaking, I'm very pleased with this one, so I hope you enjoy it.

That's all for this time...

All Beatles tunes are owned by whomever owns them (duh) at the moment. I have no idea who that is. I also have absolutely no idea what the copyright status is on the other ones... The remix tracks, however, are mine. If you want to use them, ask first.
