I have played the keyboard for many many years.
In 1986 I were one of the formers of a synth-based avantgarde band called The
Rest Of The Robots.
TROTR did a couple of gigs and recorded some songs for a demo, but the audience
wasn't ready for that kind of music then.
In 1989 A band called DPoint formed out of TROTR band. PoP and Robert Widell
started to play more audience friendly music. If you must put the music in a
genre, you can say that we sounded at that point like Depeche Mode, New Order,
DATA etc. DPoint made a lot of gigs in Trollhättan and surrounding towns.
Two cassettes have we made (CD were not really an issue then) "Etismate
Me" and "Songs From A Dying Landscape".
Nowadays Dpoint plays dancemusic. The name has been little adjusted to "DPoint
Sound System".
All Material can be ordered from PoP.
1996 I started to play in a band called "Jungle Juice". The band were an ordinary rock band, playing mostly coversongs. We played together for about 1 year.
1997 Me and the guitarist from Jungle Juice, Reine Strand, sat down and wrote
couple of songs that we also performed at a local TV station (TV 4, Fyrstad).
At that point we were 4 persons. Me (Keyboard, sequencer programming, rythm
programming), Reine(Guitar), Mats Andersson (Guitar) and Amy Forsberg(Vocal).
On Different reasons there were some change of people in the band.
Torbjörn Blomstrand (Drums) and Per Engström (Bass) joined and Mats
left together with Amy that were replaced by Maria (vocals). We did a very good
gig and recorded a CD before everyone went their own ways in 1998.
You can find two of the songs here for listening. Toaster
and Tribulation.
Nowadays when i'm not making dancemusic, I'm playing songs on the keyboard and my girlfriend sings and plays the guitar.
If anyone needs an experienced keyboardplayer, send me a mail.
