Hello!

This is the place where you used to find the homepage of Dorian Records
in Sweden. Actually, you still do, but we are no longer called Dorian.
This is the story:

I get a lot of mail to my label. Mostly demos and kind letters, but
sometimes bad things like bills, invoices and perhaps an application for
a summons every now and then. In mid-August 1999 I got a letter from the
lawoffice of Mr. Christopher R. Whent in New York. He's the attorney for
another label called Dorian in the USA. They've been around for much
longer than me and have all the rights to the use of that name. Of
course, I've never heard of them when I named my own label, but that's
not so odd, they've never heard of me either til now.

So I guess Dorian have to change name from now on. Actually I have no
releases coming up so that's not a big problem, but if you are a proud
owner of some of my releases please think of a new name every time you
look at them.

What about the new name then. I haven't thought very much about a new
name for Dorian, so if you have a clever idea in your head feel free to
join our:

NEW LABEL-NAME COMPETITION!!

Think of a name that would the catalogue of Dorian Records. In a good
way, please. There's no need to take part of the competition if you
don't like my records. Well, you don't have to like all of them (I
don't) but you know what I mean.

The winner will have a very special ex-Dorian goody-bag with almost all
the releases (and maybe a few things from my record-collection that I
don't want). All contributions will be up at the page, and the winner
will be announced as soon as I get a name I like.

Send your idea of a name along with your own name to:

dorianrecords@hotmail.com

(Yes, I know that address looks bad, but I need a new before I can
change it)

Shine On!

/ Roger
