Welcome to the Family Ties Home Page - Winner of the
Swedish TV award in the English-spoken sites category and a complete web site
about the best sitcom ever, Family Ties, with Michael J.
Fox, Meredith Baxter, Michael Gross, Justine Bateman,
Tina Yothers, Courteney Cox, Tracy Pollan and other famous and talented actors. Here you can find lots of information about the show (probably more info than you can find anywhere else). The person responsible for this site is Daniel
Hofverberg - Please feel free to e-mail me at email@example.com (other contact details can be found at the bottom of this page) if you have any questions, either regarding the site or the show itself, and I'll do my best to answer them.
Remember to sign up for the Family Ties Mailing
List! Follow the link and enter a few details - It will only take 30 seconds!
Also remember that you can always use the Request form to
read newsletters you may have missed.
I apologize for the lack of updates on this site the last few months, mostly due to a recent computer crash.
Unfortunately, with the crash, I lost the redesign of the site I have been working on for the last few months.
Therefore, the new version of the site has been postponed for the time being. As soon as I get some free time,
I will start working on a new redesign, but unfortunately I'm not sure how long it will take. If you have sent
any e-mails to me the last few months and never got a reply, please e-mail me again. With the hard disk crash,
I may have lost some e-mails, and I have no way of knowing for sure...
New Message Board!
The site has now switched to a new
and more modern Message Board, with many improvements such as the ability to
be notified of replies to posts, posting polls, attaching images, editing your
posts afterwards, etc. Unfortunately, this new message board is not compatible
with the old one - Therefore, I will soon (hopefully before Christmas) transfer
all messages from the old message board to the new one. In the meantime, please feel
free to reply to existing messages at the old
board, but use the new Message
Board for starting new threads. You can no longer start threads at the old message board.
New Services! FAMILY
Have fun, improve your memory and learn more about Family Ties with this
new version of the old, classic Memory. Match the character names to their
and the security has improved, so that the high score now should be reasonably
reliable (I had to change the old method, as some of the high score entries were
not realistic, and must have been accomplished via cheating). WORD SEARCH
Another Family Ties game - Search for the Family Ties words and names
hidden in the word puzzle. Hard but fun! Requires Java support in your browser.
FAMILY TIES QUIZ
Have fun and learn more about Family Ties with this quiz. When you take the
quiz, you will be asked 15 questions, randomly selected from a larger database.
The quiz also contains a high score list of the top 15 results.
Use this form to request copies of old issues of the Family Ties Newsletter. You
can use it either to catch up on what happened before you signed up for the
mailing list, or perhaps check out old issues before deciding whether to
subscribe or not. EPISODE TRANSCRIPTS
You can now find transcripts to certain episodes of Family Ties on this
new page - Available both as HTML (regular Web format) and plain text .TXT files. FAMILY TIES FANFICTION
Due to user requests, you can now read fanfiction related to Family Ties
on this new page, as well as submitting your own stories. If you are interested
in writing fanfiction, then be sure to visit this page right away, as I need your help in
completing the page!
INTERVIEWS WITH TINA YOTHERS AND BRIAN BONSALL
Read all about my upcoming interview with Tina Yothers, and an important
announcement regarding the interview that was planned with Brian Bonsall on this page.
Sorry for the lack of updates recently. Replaced the logo on
the index page with a cleaner one. Also replaced the Family Ties image on
this page with a new one, for variation.
Added a new message
board, and added links to that board.
With time, the old message board will disappear, but it will work for a
period of time while I transfer over the old messages to the new board.
Added an advanced Family
Ties Quiz, with high score lists and randomly selected questions.
Sorry for the lack of updates - I have been busy with
college. Updated the Family Ties on TV page, with
information about one new country (Lebanon) and updated information about
the US, Norway, Sweden and Mexico.
Updated the Family Ties on TV page with
new information about Colombia and Pakistan, and updated information for a
few other countries.
Added a new game - A Word
Search game where you will search for words hidden in a puzzle. It is
supposed to be based on an old classic game, but at least here in Sweden I
don't think it is particularly common...
Added yet another game - A Family Ties interpretation of the
classic Memory game
(also known as Concentration), where you match characters with their
Added a high score feature to the Memory
game, so that you can compare your score to others. Really fun!
Added transcript for episode
98: "The Paper Chase".
Updated the Family Ties on TV page with
new information about the US, Denmark, Peru and Portugal.
Updated the User Survey to reflect
the new pages available on the site.
Added one new fanfiction to the
Family Ties Fanfiction page, as well as
updating one other fanfiction with more parts.
Improved and rewrote the High Score
implementation of the Family
Ties Memory game, to improve security and anti-cheat mechanisms, in
order to make the high score more realistic. Also cleared out the old high
score, as some of the entries were obviously not realistic and had results
next to impossible to acchieve without cheating.
