 Party at our house
We had three big parties, with at least 50 guests, at our
house during my semester in Australia. It started with a "Welcome to
Australia" party in July, followed by a birthday party when Markus and Jung turned 25
in September. Finally we celebrated Peter's 20th birthday in November. In addition
to this we had smaller "house parties" almost every week and dinner parties when
something special happened.

Sometimes our Norwegian friends Siri, Elin,
Cesilie, Hal and Kristian invited us over for pool parties. They lived in a luxury place
called Cathedral place. Other times we just played guitar and drank beer in the girls
apartment.

Before it was time to leave Brisbane, we had
a Barbecue at a place called Kangaroo Point in Brisbane. It's a nice spot right next to
the river with a view of the city. When the BBQ was over we continued the party at
the Americans place
