Brisbane
Brisbane is a beautiful city with about 1,5
million inhabitants. I lived in a suburb called West End about 20 minutes walk from
Brisbane center. The suburb is characterized by coffee shops and restaurants. The house
was old, but nice and had about ten rooms. My Uni was located in the outskirts of the city
center, right next to the botanic garden.

Gold Coast
Whenever there was time I took the train to
Surfers Paradise on the Gold coast, about 1 hours ride from Brisbane. Surfers is a tourist
place with lots of high hotels and a really long beach with nice waves.

Stradbroke
Island
I visited Straddie several times. The first
time was with my class from Uni. We visited the inner of the Island, which is closed for
tourists. The second time was with my friends from the house. We biked across the Island a
beautiful day. My last visit was with Markus. We took the bus and saw some nice beaches.

Markus, Jung and I went to Frasier Island,

and camped on the Island for two nights.

Barrier Reef
I traveled to Arlie Beach with my friend
Jessica between my final exams in November. From Arlie I got on a boat an sailed to the
Whitsunday Islands and the Barrier reef. I did five dives at different locations and saw
beautiful fishes, corals and even encountered sharks. We sailed for a total of three
nights and four days
