The INMATES
The Inmates

Sometimes I feel like I am l lost in the record business public relations swamp.Tony on the guitarAll the music that I hear have the same beat and it feel soulless and boring. All these big breasted, super thin, ultracool girls with five ponytails in their hair, do NOT give me an uncontrollable impulse to buy their music.

I want music with a heartbeat and a soul of it's own. Music that puts a smile on my face, make me wanna fall in love, do crazy things and drink a lot of beer.

Eddie....the drummerI got this and much more the first time I heard the Inmates! Back to the basics, good old sweatdripping, hot, pure ROCK. They've got it all, the beat, the feeling and the energy.

The Inmates visited Sweden in the end of October this year and I had the privilege to take some photos during their concerts. The Inmates come from London and this year they are celebrating their 20th anniversary as a band.

They gave us 1,5 hours of music, both old songs and songs from the new The one and only Bill Hurleyalbum "Silvério". Bill Hurley do not only contribute with his special, original sounding voice, he also know all the right moves to bring the songs alive. The Inmates are unquestionable a very good band to watch live, they give you action 150% of the time. On this tour they had great help from the young Norwegian guitarist Paul Ronney who was a stand in for Peter Gunn.

Tony brings Paul to his kneesThe Norwegian talent showed off by playing the guitar laying on his back.
Everyone smiles and laughs on stage and you can really feel how much the whole band loves playing.

So if you never heard the Inmates before, run down to your nearest recordstore and purchase their newest album. I promise you that it will soon become one of your most treasured belongings.

Paul and Eddie gives all they've got

Thank's a lot Bill, Ben, Eddie, Tony and Paul.

Keep on rocking:-)
