People say that I´m a Volvo-freak. I don´tknow if it´s true, but I do prefer cars.

Below: A Volvo 242 Turbo made for the US-market.Really nice picture, isn´t it? In Europe you couldn´t get a2-door 240 Turbo, just 4- and 5-doors, wich is sort of sad. But there issome imported and customized 2-door Turbo´s in Europe.

So, here it is! The Volvo C70 convertible. In this one can you get lots of wind in your hair,with 240 hp you even don´t have to try hard

This is Volvo´s new killer in the 1997th BTCC, (British Touring-Car Campionship). It looks like a Volvo S40, and from the beginning it was, but almost the whole car is transformed for ultimate performance. This S40 has the 5-cyl. 2.0-litre engine from the70-series, (or 850-series). The engine is transformed by the english race-company,TWR, to the limit of the BTCC-rules. TWR-Volvo can get about 300+ hp out of it. This year TWR-Volvo has 19" wheels, wich is a bit bigger than last year when they drove on 18" wheels. But that´s standard,every team has 19" wheels in 1997. The S40 on the picture is just a prototype, some details will probably be changed before the season starts, in the end of march -97. The black colour is very cool, but that´sjust because the aerodynamic details doesn´t show so easy in black.The real race-S40´s will show off in the old pattern, blue, yellow and white, but in an another concept. This year Volvo will punch the shit out of everyone, I promise you. Last year Audi kind of cheated all the way to the victory. After half of the season -96 Audi got a bit extra-weight, but that was not enough, 4-wheel-drive can not race with 2-WD-cars. In the 1997 Audi will get even more extra-weight, and to the season 1998 the 4-WD-cars are totally forbidden in the BTCC. This year Mr Rydell want revenge, last year he lost his victory to Menu wich drove a Renault Laguna (if you disregard the cheating Audi-team) because of a driving shaft wich broke twice. This year that misstake just don´t happen.

Below: Well, if you think that this is Volvo´scar you´re wrong. But it seems that it is their old kennel, wich they competed with their first year in the BTCC. This one has an other front-wing, wich they did´t had on the estate in the beginning. Wheels and commercial has been changed too.
