Charizma started in the beginning of the 80's by the three brothers BO, Göran and Janne Nikolausson. They grew fast in popularity and soon they was one of the most popular christian hardrock bands in Sweden among Jerusalem and Leviticus. Throughout the years over 1600 people has been saved on their concerts and even more people has been touched by their songs. In 1985 Charizma released their first album called "Rock The World". Charizma also played many live shows in Sweden this year. In 1986 Charizma released their single "Turn Me On" wich received very good critic. This year "Turn Me On" was played several times on channel 3, the biggest Swedish radio channel. In 1987 Charizma started their first international tour and in 1988 they for the first time played in U.S.A at the Gazzari's in Hollywood. This year Charizma also signed a management contract with DHM (Stryper, Holy Soldier). I the end of the summer they also played at the Greenbelt festival in England. In 1989 Charizma lived in Los Angeles half the year. Under that time they played in many clubs and made a video which was produced by Jay Torres (Scorpions, Madonna). In the end of this year Charizma for the first time was touring in the Sovjet Union. They also released their single "Join Hands" in Estonia. In 1990 Charizma was touring in Estonia, this year they also made a remake of their debut album including the hit single "Join Hands" The album was released on the only record company in the Sovjet Union, the comunistic Melodia and was called "Rockin The World Together". Charizma reached nr1 on the radiotop in Estonia before famous artists like Bon Jovi, Madonna etc. During this year in Estonia Charizma could be seen on the TV sevral times and under nine concerts they have over 30 000 people in the audience. In the fall 1990 Charizma went out on a tour down to Europe and visited Germany and Switzerland for the first time. Between 1989 and 1991 Charizma sold over 40 000 copies of their album only in Estonia. In the beginning of 1991 Charizma went down to Australia and played on some festivals. In August this year Charizma for the third time went over to Estonia and this time they played for a crowd of over 46 000 people. In 1992 Charizma often played in Sweden and Finland they also played at Estonias first national day for a crowd over 35 000 people. They also released a demo called "Heaven Can't Wait" this year. In October 1993 Charizma released the album "The Ultimate Call" which was their first album that came out on CD. It include 15 songs. Chaizma followed up the album by a tour to Germany. In 1994 Charizma is again touring in Germany and after that tour Charizma decided to take a break for a year and spend more time with their families. After the break Charizma started an un-plugged tour down to Germay. In 1996 Charizma signed a record contract to the German label Asaph Music and started to work on their new album. In the beginning of 1997 "To Be Continued" Was released.
