 Welcome to Diamond Multimedia Systems Inc. Micronics Computers, Inc. (Including it's Orchid division) was recently acquired by Diamond Multimedia, a leader in the interactive multimedia acceleration market.
What does this mean for Micronics? Micronics' quality products, like the Twister LX, Redstone and Helios motherboards, will now benefit from the support of Diamond Multimedia's worldwide marketing, sales and customer support infrastructure. Additionally, Diamond intends to expand the Micronics motherboard line by combining the company's motherboard expertise and highly-qualified engineering team with Diamond's multimedia and communications expertise to develop integrated multimedia systems boards for the PC market and, longer-term, for the emerging set-top, media center and Internet appliance market. What about Orchid, a Micronics' subsidiary, and their Righteous 3D brand of graphics accelerators? All of Orchid's products, including the Righteous 3D brand of graphics accelerators, will continue to receive world class support through Diamond Mulitmeida's technical support and customer service departments.
