Java is a fantastic programming language and java is also thight together with internet. If you design your java-program as an java-applet you'll be able to run the program on any computer anywhere in the world. You just have to have an internet connection and a java compatible browser. But...it's going to take some time before I've completed the java version. In the meantime there is a similiar service on Ljudia's homepage. Not as good as the java version of BassCAD will be but it's the best version avaliable on internet, I think. But I'm working on this and some day I'll actually install a development environment on my system. Read more about java on Sun's Java site. Sun was the company that invented the java language so they should know.
