Atari made many different computers. In 1978 Atari made their first 8-bit computers, the 400 and 400. 1985 their first 16-bit computer was made, the 520 ST. There were many different STs, they were all in 8 MHz. The TT, 1989 was much like an ST but it was in 32 MHz, the resolutions was much better, it was an expanded ST. then 1993 the Falcon 030 came, it was allot of different between the STs and the Falcon. The falcon was in 16 MHz but it had a DSP, it was a GREAT computer. But as we know Atari never won the fight of computers. Today there is only one computer, PC, the others are more or less dead. The second biggest is Macintosh. Macintosh´s founder Steve Jobbs worked at Atari a long time before he made his own computer. Today Macintosh is the second biggest, but even they are being beated. I don't believe that Atari will die totally, there will always be collectors. Even if many people is changing side the old computers will never die.
