ARSENAL SHIRTS:

The shirt collection. A tribute to the most well-dressed team in the world!

Goalkeeper shirts

Harry Storer is wearing the red and light blue stripped shirt that Arsenal tried briefly in 1895. Until 1909 the goalies wore the same shirts as the rest of the team. After that they had their own shirt designs. The goalkeeper's shirts got uglier and uglier. What better way to prevent the opposition from scoring goals than frightening their forwards with the really ugly shirts usually used by the goalies.
