ARSENAL SHIRTS:

The shirt collection. A tribute to the most well-dressed team in the world!

60s Shirts

In the late 50's the classic Arsenal shirt used since 1933 was replace with this v-neck jersey. Here we see George Easman wearing this shirt.

Mr Graham before he lost his bearings. In the 60's the jerseys were made from knitted cotton jersey, before they had been made in woven rugby style. The above v-neck was later replaced by a red round neck shirt with white arms. During the 60's and 70's the team wore the most classic shirt of them all - what I would simply call the perfect Arsenal shirt.

The classic Arsenal home shirt from the 60īs and 70īs.

Same as above but with short sleeves.

In 1967 Arsenal used a blue away kit. If the crowd looks stupid don´t be alarmed, this photo is from an away game at Old Trafford.

Nice shirt from the late sixties (season 68/69). And also a good exemple of the fact that the players in those days didn't say no to a pint or two...
