Hi,

Our name is Sanna and Linn and we are 18 years old. This website is our project work which we're doing in our third and last year at Hedbegska Upper secondary high school. Because of the programme we have chosen (Spin) we went to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil for a study visit in October/November 2003. On this website you can see that we have specialized our project work on the so called favelas. More about that you can read under the button Living in a favela in the menu. In the menu you can also read some general facts about Brazil which is a short introduction to the country that we did our apu in. More about our own experience during our study visit and our apu you can read about under the button APU. You will also have a chance to read our travel diary which we wrote during our trip.
