The new Arckanum release is finally out! It is the split vinyl 7"ep with Contamino. It is sold out since 6 months back, so don't bother asking Carnal Records or Arckanum for orders. But these distributors have bought plenty of exemplars, so try to purchase it from them:

"Kaos Svarta Mar" (Translation: The Black Ocean of Chaos) is the most enraged and harsh Arckanum album til date. Black Anti-Cosmic Chaos Magic mixed with raw Underground Black Metal. The bitter & cruel instrument of Satan!
Finally I have recorded this album. It was meant to be a vinyl-only version on MLP format. And as I plan, I will release this vinyl, but for a start I release it as a split CD with Svartsyn, just because I think Svartsyn is one of the few remaining grim black metal acts in this poor scene! And I think it is an honour to do this!
I will add five (5) new-written songs, dedicated to the northern anti-cosmic gods; Surtr & Loki, Fenrir, Hel, Jørmungandr & Chaos. And for those who likes my third album "Kampen", but like me dislikes the production, I have done a new version of the song "Frana", which will be on this CD. I am very satisfied with the "Boka Vm Kaos" series, but the "Kaos Svarta Mar" album is better I think.
It will be released this year on CD only and not limited in any way! Sinister layout and contents is a fact!

I have recieved the cover and and the test-press vinyl for the Arckanum/Contamino split 7"ep. And the now, at last, is the ep to be pressed. So it will be available within two (2) weeks!
It is sold out already, but we will state all the distribution labels, which will have it for sale, on the Arckanum website and the Carnal Records website.
Plus, a new Arckanum shirt and the "Arckanum" LP/CD (11 Year Anniversary) will soon be available on Carnal Records!
And I like to remind the Black Metal elite that Arckanum and Svartsyn (Swe) will release a split CD (hopefully on vinyl too later on!) in summer 2003!
Shamaatae
ARCKANUM will release a Split CD with SVARTSYN (Swe). This grim split CD will be unleashed some time between 2003-2004. A lot of people asks why ARCKANUM releases this much Splits, and the only answer is that Shamaatae likes it. No release dates will be set until Carnal Records are sure.
SHAMAATAE will release a series of Booklets concerning The darker aspects of PAN. Black anti-cosmic chaos magic in theory & philosophy. At last, for those who are interested in the Arckanum lyrics, have the oppertunity to read about it. Ritualistic texts and how to use them will be included. Plus the first copies will include an Arckanum tape with cover and all with ritual music and actual rituals, performed live by Shamaatae and chaos-soldiers.

RCKANUM is working in the studio right now with material to the new 7"ep "GRIMALKINZ SKALDI" - the continuation of the BOKA VM KAOS series, no dates are set for this 7"ep yet, but it should be released somewhere between the split 7"eps with CRAFT and CONTAMINO. And fresh material to the "ARCKANUM" CD/LP (10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!) - which will be released NOVEMBER 11TH 2002!!

About the ARCKANUM 7"ep "Boka Vm Kaos" (translated to The Book Of Chaos) on Carnal Records. Planned to be released in autumn 2000.
*the first title is named "Vm Kaos Gatum Ok Kosmos", which is about the knowledge which Chaos has whispered onto Shamaatae. The title means About Chaos Riddles And About Cosmos.
*The second title is named "Bafomet", and it is about the strong hate Arckanum feels towards the whores of cosmos, and the love towards Baphomet. The title speaks for it self.
The 7"ep comes out only on vinyl!! The record will be limited to 500 copies only!
The whole concept for this ep is Arckanums hate against cosmos, the false vision, the one to kill. As Shamaatae sees it, cosmos is only a pathetic mimic of Chaos. Cosmos broke out and started to create its own dominion, but it is just like a small bubble in a everlasting black sea. May Samael and Lilith gather their frenzied forces and crush this bug called cosmos. Cosmos holding humanity as slaves to feed upon through faithful belief in a false delusion. Our flesh and blood are calling though, calling its true nature. But cosmos makes us blinded, and primitive, so the most of humanity thinks this yearning is for cosmos, the light. Those are so wrong... Chaos is all. Pan is one of the deities from Chaos whom is stuck here in cosmos in a way. To make Pan a friend, means that he will lead you with guidance back to where you belong, to Chaos. Pan is a tentacle from Chaos, reached down to make war with cosmos, a war just one can win, and the one is all. WE ARE ALL! Io! Khaos! Io! Pan! Pan!
rckanum is working with World Entertainment Inc. to get Arckanums rights back, money, Cdīs, LPīs and a shit load of other things that "Typhon" of Necropolis tries to hold back. But with professionally help, Arckanum will strike back and thatīs whatīs going on right now.
Necropolis Records have broke the contract a thousand times, and now Arckanum will get back what is ours!
Now, Arckanum is planning to jump over from the "Rip Off Label" (with a capital R) Necropolis to a small true label called Carnal Records, which Shamaatae himself was involved with in the beginning. Arckanum planning to release a bunch of 7"epīs which will include all the songs that never have been release, nor recorded. Arckanum patches, stickers and posters will also appear. And after that, Arckanum WILL release the long awaited full length album "Faunaz Samgang". Carnal Rec. and Arckanum is working right now to get out a release this year! But all depends on the Necropolis case and other economical things.
