AMK 2003 on a parade.	Welcome to the unofficial homepage of the Central Band of the Royal Swedish Army for the year 2003. The Swedish Army Band is entirely made up of conscripts. Because of that there is a new band of musicians every year. The band consists of about fifty musicians. Our main task is to perform ceremonies for the military, the royal family or the government. Other than that we also have our own performances and concerts. Our performances are much alike to the american marching bands, although with not that many people, and we also have a very strict drill. This year we have been to Austria and Norway as well as many different places in Sweden, for example the Ystad International Military Tattoo, and a tattoo in Eksjö as well. Unfortunately this homepage will have no English version other than this, but feel free to sign our guestbook or take a look at our pictures.
