Many people write to me and ask how and where to find the Bush songs that are not on either Sixteen Stone nor Razorblade Suitcase. So here is the answer... If you want to buy any of the CD:s featured with a picture, just click on it to but through CDNOW.
The links lead to the songs lyrics.
Personally I think the best non album song is Bubbles (I even named my site after it!). In my oppinion it would easily qualify to be on either 16 Stone or Razorblade. You find "Bubbles" on the soundtrack for the movie "Mallrats". The CD is definitely worth the price, cause it has more great songs (not by Bush, but Weezer, Sublime, Belly, silverchair etc).
Many Bush singles have B-sides ("bonus tracks") on them. On Glycerine, the song "Solomons Bones" is included. A version of the Greedy Fly single (there are several different versions...) has the cool song "Old" which also appears on the or soundtrack for X-games 2.
"Broken TV" is a good song you find on the Swallowed single (there are more versions of the Swallowed single, so check the back to be sure before you buy it), it also exists another version of Broken TV, called "Bud". Bud is more "dance-influated", but has the same bass tones. I have never heard that Bush plays Bud in concert
Another song with Bush is "In A Lonely Place". It's originally a a cover of a rare Joy Division demo, anyway it's really different, slow and quite cool. It is also featured in the film "The Crow - City of Angels", but you can also find it on the single for Cold Contagious.
"Good King Somethingorother" is a song that Bush has recorded for the Women-charity CD 'Come All Ye Faithful'. It begins calmly, and then Jimi Henrix' Hey Joe is played, also by Bush, but the strange thing is that the CD booklet says that Nigel plays the bass ans Dave the guitar, don't know if that's correct or if it is just a missprint. Anyway the song is punky and sure rocks.
Then Bush has made some covers* from various artists like "Wild Horses" (Rolling Stones), "Suspicious Minds" (Elvis), "Revolution Blues" (Neil Young), The One I Love (R.E.M.) and Hotel California (The Eagles).
Then there are the interactive CD-ROM singles. First was Little Things which included 'on the road' fotage and cool movie clips. Unfortunately as far as I know, it doesn't exist on the market anymore, so I don't have it. (I know, it's unserious). The second CD-ROM is the one for Cold Contagious. It is awesome and holds serveral rocking live appearences, the video for Swallowed, interviews and more.
I hope you will find the songs you are looking for...
If you know something additional that would fit in here, please mail me.
* cover is a song that a group/artist hasn't written themselves.
