According to an ancient Mayan prophecy the new world of consciousness will be born during the Venus Passage of June 6, 2012. Venus Passages are unusual astronomical events wich happen pairwise about once in a century when Venus, the sister planet of the earth, eclipses the Sun. The occurrence of a pair of Venus Passages, on June 8th, 2004 and June 6th, 2012, each being seven hours long, is now approching.

These Venus Passages are the Cosmic Mirrors whose arrival have been prophesied in many ancient traditions. The first of these may be seen as the Great Rehearsal, whereas the second marks the completion of Creation and the arrival of an era of peace and harmony, the Millennium.

More and more people meditate across our planet. Some by themselves or in accordance with any of the many tried out methods that are taught by different schools. Most pcople do this as a part of their individual development, but many also do it to harmonize with the rest of humanity and above all to unite with its higher purpose in accordance with the Divine Plan.

If this is what we are aiming for, then we should meditate together. We should experiment with collective meditations on a global scale, co-ordinated and synchronized so that together we may seek God’s purpose with our lives, and then try to make this real, each and every one of us sincerely and to the best of out ability. For this every individual needs to experience an autentic guidence from within for which meditation may be helpfull. In this way, we can create a global unity around the very quest for the guidance of God, regardless of what ideas we may now have about spirituality, religion and the nature of our world. For an increasing number of people it is becoming evident that in the future the affirmation of God can not be built on dogmas or theses - which separate more than they unite - but to seek to realize the purpose of Creation.

Most of the major religions speak of a completing phase of Creation and many see this approaching in the coming decades. According to the Maya people, which has given the most exact description of the rhythm of evolution of consciousness, the new world will be born around the time of the Cosmic Mirror in 2012, but all monotheist religions have envisioned a spiritual completion phase for humanity. The time has come to transcend all religious, national or ethnical barriers in the worship of God.

For this reason it is important already now to begin to build, increasingly larger meditations on a yearly basis on June 6th, so as to support a sizeable proportion of humanity in participating already by the Great Rehearsal in 2004. If a significant proportion of humanity meditate together at a single occasion it would be an event remembered forever and have an immensley positive impact on the self-consciousness of humanity. But the accomplishment of such a unity will require much preparation, and year by year increasing the number and extension of the meditations on June 6th. The first year about a 1000 people participated, and last year people in thirteen countries joined. 1998 will be the fourth year a meditation is organized on this day. Help us disseminate the infomation about this unified meditation in peace and harmony on June 6th.
