Welcome  to Alheims website !

Under the prefix Alheims  I  breed American Cocker Spaniels in Sweden. The kennel name stands for limited hobby breeding and showing.

We conduct eye testing annually on all our dogs,with follow through testing even on the animals which are not longer active in the breeding program. The breeding program exclusivly uses only the dogs with clear eyes.   

I bought my first  American Cocker in 1969 and in 1973 I imported a red male from the United States, Int.Norwich Ch  Cobb´s Red Jacket. Bred by Mrs. Carolyn Cobb, Cobb´s Cockers in Texas. From that movment my heart stayed within the red colour  in Cockers.

I have carried on with the breeding lines I started out with in the end of the sixties. All breeding stock  I have today goes back to Ch Cobb´s Red Jacket.   I am an Honorary Member of the Swedish Breed Club , Amerikansk Cocker Cirkel (ACC) founded 1973.
