| Today,
a week after Songkran festival, I had a midnight flight to catch to
Sweden. Last night I stayed at Penguin's place, so Ond did as well.
In the morning I still had some times to do some business that I haven’t
done yet, so we went to Soon Silpasheeb Bangsai (Bangsai Arts and
Crafts Training Centre of H.M. Queen Sirikit of Thailand) Because
I wanted to buy some souvenirs to bring with me to Sweden. The weather
was certainly hot. It is typical April weather in Thailand. Before
going home and packing I decided to have some Thai foods before I
leave my beloved country, because I knew that I would not get a chance
to eat delicious Thai foods for some months during the stay in Sweden.
In late evening I finally came home. I only had couple of hours to
grab my things and take a shower. |

I couldn't believe that in 3 hours I had to
fly away, but my luggage was still empty. But finally I made it and
was ready to go. At the airport I was a little surprised because there
was not a long line at check-in desk as I expected. I didn't even
have to wait at all. After check-in and getting boarding pass I walked
through immigration control, and then waited for boarding. My seat
was relatively far in rear cabin. It
didn’t take too long for boarding. After giving them boarding
pass, I walked straight to the aircraft with little excited
feeling, since it was my first time flying with SAS. Personally
I like this airline, even though I never flown with them
before. But I like its look. And also it was my first time
to fly on Airbus 340. Before this flight I had learned that
on SAS flight operated by A340, there are small own private
TV screen in every economy class seats. This made me even
more excited. Once I got into the plane, I was wondering,
while walking to my seat, how would my
trip
accompany look like. Surely I hoped to have goodlooking accompany.
But my wish always failed. Anyway, I will talk about the detail of
my trip on SAS flight again separately.
At
around 6 am I arrived at Copenhagen Kastrup airport. The airport was
still quiet in the morning, not many activities going on, as not many
flights had arrived. My flight was the first arrival of the day. |

| About
20 minutes right after my flight I saw Thai Airways was coming to the parking
position at gate nearby my gate. So there was a long queue of people at
passport control, especially a channel for
non-EU citizen.
Because two flights from Bangkok at the same time brought big number of
non-EU people. I decided to wait until the line got shorter, then I took
my turn. I was not in hurry, since it was only 6.30 am, my connecting flight
departed at 9.45. So I took it easy. At the immigration control everything
was fine. I didn’t have any problem with it. After passing checkpoint
area, I started to take a walk and had a look around. |

Definitely
I took a walk in duty free shop, which I always do. I called it as
pre-shopping. I bought nothing because usually I only check out the
prices. Then I can compare later where is best to buy. And I usually
do the big shopping at the airport on the way back home. I still had
some Danish crowns left from last trip I connected in Copenhagen.
So I bought some to eat while waiting for the next flight. I still
had about two hours until boarding time. But I already sat there in
front of the gate, reading my book and enjoying my candy and drink
that I had bought for almost 60 Danish crowns. I really like this
airport anyway, its interior, its layout, its design. They are impressive.
It’s not big airport compare to other airports in other European
major cities, such as London Heathrow, Paris CDG or Frankfurt am Main.
Once I was at Amsterdam Schipol airport, but I like this
Copenhagen Kastrup more, especially SAS business lounge. I like its
clean and simply Scandinavian design. Finally I boarded on my
flightbound for Gothenburg. The flight was not full at all. There
wasn’t even anyone seated next to me on the plane. It was a
very short flight. It took only 45 minutes. So we were served with
some refreshment, which I thought it was ok, because I didn’t
expect anything. |

Once
we landed and I got off the plane. I went direct to get my luggage
from luggage belt. There was no need to be controlled passport again,
as I had already done in Copenhagen, according to the Schengen States
agreement. After getting my belonging I walked out the arrival hall,
and waited for someone to pick me up. I guess, I was a little tired.
But I didn’t feel it. So I felt asleep on the way to the accommodation.
