It was in the fall of 1996 the idea came. A constellation of young people decided to form a metalband. When the new year arrived Absentia saw the light of day. The aim of Absentia was to make slow and depressive doom, although the result turned out to be somewhat different, as can be heard on Absentia's first demo called "A Morning To Remember". You are now invited to explore the musical world of Absentia through this site.
